Eli Manning Throws Out First Pitch to Celebrate Father’s Day

on

The Mets have announced that Super Bowl champion and New York Giants Quarterback Eli Manning will throw out the first pitch before today’s game, which is slated for 1:10 p.m.

Manning will throw out the first pitch with his daughter Ava on behalf of Pampers in honor of all the “Most Valuable Dads” on Father’s Day.

Why is this important? I think we need to take a second to appreciate those dads who got us started with baseball. All I know is that, from the moment I was born, I was fed orange and blue. Despite the fact that my father was originally a Yankee fan, he eventually saw the light and started supporting the Mets.

Happy Father’s Day everyone, and LET’S GO METS!
