Gary Cohen: This Team Just Does Not Know How to Lose

on

We are so spoiled to have the announce team of Gary Cohen, Ron Darling and Keith Hernandez on television.

Today, after six straight wins on the road, it seemed like the Mets had thrown up a lemon, as there were two out and nobody on in the ninth. Juan Lagares doubled and Curtis Granderson walked in front of Daniel Murphy, who promptly launched a three-run homer to right center field to tie the game. Cohen’s next line was right on the Money.

“This team just does not know how to lose!”

Relive the magic from today’s win below, and let’s keep up the pressure against Miami tomorrow night with Logan Verrett on the hill!

Here are the game highlights, courtesy of WOR 710:

Good afternoon! I just wanted to point out that in your “Gary Cohen: This Team Just Does Not Know How to Lose” article, you wrongly stated that Murphy hit a 2 run homer, and also forgot to mention that Granderson drew a walk beforehand (making it a 3 run home run instead.) Perhaps it’d be a good idea to revise the article.

    Regards, Jacques (a young fan)
