Harvey Finale Postponed; Makeup Game Thursday

on

If you bought tickets to tonight’s game hoping to see Matt Harvey’s last start of 2012 like I almost did, you’re probably going to be disappointed.

Tonight’s scheduled game between the Mets and the Phillies has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up on Thursday night at 7:10 p.m. According to the Mets’ official Twitter account, tickets for tonight’s game will be honored for Thursday night’s game.

Barring some more inclement weather tomorrow, Wednesday’s game, which was to be the series finale, will now be played as the middle game of the series. It will feature a pitching matchup between Harvey (3-5, 2.92 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, 63 K) and Phillies ace Cole Hamels (15-6, 3.06 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, 192 K). Wednesday’s first pitch is slated for 7:10 p.m. and the game can be seen on SNY or heard, as always, on WFAN 660 AM.
