In Case You Forgot How Awesome Matt Harvey is

Matt Harvey has allowed two runs in his last 34.2 innings (0.52 ERA) dating to July 31.

He is 5-3 with a 1.34 ERA (12 earned runs/80.1 innings) in his last 12 starts since June 16. His 1.34 ERA since June 16 is the second-best mark in the major leagues (minimum 65.0 innings pitched). Overall, he’s fifth in the NL with a 2.48 ERA, tied for 10th in wins (11), sixth in batting average against (.213) and third with a 2.02 ERA at night.

In his last eight home starts dating to June 16, Matt Harvey is 4-0 with a 0.99 ERA (six earned runs/54.2 innings). He is 7-2 with a 2.26 ERA (24 earned runs/94.2 innings) at home this year. Harvey ranks ninth in the NL in home ERA.

Harvey has allowed one run or less in 31 career starts, the most such starts in a pitcher’s first 60 career games in the last 100 years. Has not received the win in 17 of those starts in which he has allowed one run or less, the most such starts for a pitcher in his first 60 career games in the last century. In 20 career no-decisions, he has a 1.73 ERA (26 earned runs/135.1 innings).
