Mets Fans Are Second Most Unloyal Fanbase In Baseball

The Mets fans have been pretty beat up since the end of the 2006 baseball season. The Mets have won very little and we are fed up.

We mean it has gotten so bad that we can’t even win when it comes to being unloyal as Darren Rovell of ESPN pointed out earlier on Monday.

Well based on what we have seen just on twitter the past few years, there are plenty of Mets fans that are loyal to the orange and blue. They might curse and yell and get pissed off at the Mets, but still loyal none the less.

Of course if they ever start winning again, you might seem some extra loyalty in fans come out even more…

That’s nonsense I have been a Met Fan since the team came into existence and just like my fellow fans we want our team to be successful sure we all get angry when a trade is not made that we think will help the team or a player does not run out a play and gives a half hearted performance that’s our right we pay the price of admission and expect a good effort but win or lose there are many of us who will cheer and support our beloved Mets.

I wonder if there is a report showing the loyalty of the owners? This organization has just as much a fan base as the Boys in the Bronx when given the reason; or they did till the Wilpons let it all slip away over that last 20+ years and lose an entire generation. The fan base has not created a 5 year losing streak; the fan base did not let one of their premiere players walk away over “chocolates”; the fan base hasn’t tried to sell David Wright surrounded by left overs from a blue plate special as “fielding a professional team”; The fan base hasn’t run this organization as if it were located in Pittsburgh. Roosevelt Avenue is NOT the only two-way street near Citi Field.
