Noah Syndergaard Named NL Player of the Week

Yesterday, Noah Syndergaard was named the W.B. Mason National League Player of the Week. Syndergaard made two starts last week and went 1-0 with a 0.63 ERA (one earned run/14.1 innings) with two walks and 14 strikeouts. He has tossed at least 7.0 innings in five consecutive starts dating back to July 13, extending his personal-best streak.

Since the All-Star break, Syndergaard has gone 2-1 with a 1.78 ERA and 39 strikeouts across 35.1 innings of work, lowering his 2019 ERA to its lowest point of the season (3.96).
