Phillies Announcer: Mets Fans are Obnoxious

on

Apparently, not everyone is a big fan of the orange and blue fan nation, which when they travel is often part of the 7 Line Army.

We already heard about how Colorado Rockies manager Walt Weiss didn’t care for the 7 Line invasion of Coors field, but Larry Anderson, who does color commentary on the radio, just simply doesn’t like us. The following clips are from NJ.com.

“I’ll take the Nationals fans over the Mets fans,” Andersen said on air.

“Why’s that?” Phils radio play-by-play man Scott Franzke asked.

“They’re just obnoxious,” Andersen said.

While the Phillies have been impressive during their recent surge, they still remain in last place in the NL East. They have a promising third base prospect in Maikel Franco, but beyond that, who knows? It’s Ryan Howard and a bunch of nobodies.

Enjoy the cellar Larry. At least the only way your team can move is up.
