Phillies Announcer: Mets Fans are Obnoxious

on

Apparently, not everyone is a big fan of the orange and blue fan nation, which when they travel is often part of the 7 Line Army.

We already heard about how Colorado Rockies manager Walt Weiss didn’t care for the 7 Line invasion of Coors field, but Larry Anderson, who does color commentary on the radio, just simply doesn’t like us. The following clips are from NJ.com.

“I’ll take the Nationals fans over the Mets fans,” Andersen said on air.

“Why’s that?” Phils radio play-by-play man Scott Franzke asked.

“They’re just obnoxious,” Andersen said.

While the Phillies have been impressive during their recent surge, they still remain in last place in the NL East. They have a promising third base prospect in Maikel Franco, but beyond that, who knows? It’s Ryan Howard and a bunch of nobodies.

Enjoy the cellar Larry. At least the only way your team can move is up.

The Philly announcers are obnoxious. That wasn’t very nice to say about visitors.

Yea, because Phillie fans, or even Philly fans in general, are class acts.

with all due respect Larry! instead of you giving credit to a team that it has taken alot of beatings in the past and now is in a postion to win like the philly were years ago! you should show the respect that the Mets deserve cause when the philly were on top you never heard mets talk about the philly this or the philly that.
