  • METSCELLANEOUS: The Mets have won three of their last four games, including capturing their first series of the year (at Cleveland)…New York posted its second shutout of the season yesterday…The Mets had 14 shutouts in 2015.
  • ON THE ROAD: The Mets are 2-1 on their nine-game road trip which includes a stop in Atlanta after Philadelphia…New York is 3-2 on the road this season…The Mets went 41-40 on the road in 2015.
  • SERIES IN CLEVELAND: The Mets hit .279 (31-111), scored 17 runs, collected nine doubles and 17 RBI during their three- game series at Cleveland…Entering that series, New York hit .194 (49-252) with 20 runs scored, eight doubles and two home runs in its first eight games.
  • HOME RUNS: The Mets hit seven home runs during their three-game series vs. the Indians…New York entered that series with two home runs.
  • VS. PHILLY: The Mets have won nine of their last 11 series vs. the Phillies…New York lost two of three games during its Opening Homestand last week…The Mets went 14-5 vs. the Phillies last year, the most wins in team history in a single season vs. Philadelphia.
  • WRIGHT STUFF: David Wright has 20 career home runs in Citizens Bank Park, the most by any visiting player in the ballpark’s history…Wright is hitting .292 (114-394) with 26 doubles and 67 RBI in 97 games at CBP…Wright’s 26 doubles, 20 home runs and 67 RBI are his most in any visiting ballpark.
  • WRIGHT ON: Wright is hitting .310 (9-29) in his last eight games after going 0-4 on Opening Day…Wright has reached base safely in 19 straight games dating to September 20, 2015…He has a .407 on-base percentage during that span.
  • DUDA IN PHILLY: Lucas Duda has nine home runs and 28 RBI in 39 career games at Citizens Bank Park, most are career- highs for a visiting ballpark…Duda belted six home runs and had 12 RBI in 11 games vs. the Phillies in 2015.
  • YOENIS CESPEDES: Hit two home runs and drove in six runs during the three-game series at Cleveland…Cespedes is hitting .385 (10-26) with four runs, two doubles, three home runs and nine RBI in his last seven games…He hit three home runs and had seven RBI in six games in Philadelphia last season.
  • OFFENSE: The Mets are hitting .220 after 11 games, ranking 25th in the majors…New York has scored 37 runs, tied for 25th in the majors…The Mets are 3-1 when they score four or more runs this year and 2-5 when they plate three runs or less…New York has 17 extra-base hits in its last three games after collecting 10 extra-base hits in its first eight contests.
  • PITCHING: The Mets staff has a 3.25 ERA, which is the eighth- lowest in the majors this season…The staff has 105 strikeouts, tied for the ninth-most in the majors.
  • NOAH NOTES: Noah Syndergaard has 21 strikeouts, which is tied for the sixth-most in the majors…His 21 strikeouts are tied for the most in club history for a Mets pitcher after his first two starts of the season…Pedro Martinez also had 21 strikeouts in 2005 and Dwight Gooden did the same in 1991 after their first two games…Martinez holds the franchise mark for the most strikeouts after the first three starts of a season (30 in 2005)…He is tied for sixth in the majors in ERA (0.69).
  • DOUBLE-DIGIT: Syndergaard has six double-digit strikeout games in his first 26 career starts, which is tied for second-best total in franchise history with Matt Harvey…Dwight Gooden is first with 11…Syndergaard fanned 12 in his last start on April 12 vs. Miami.
  • BRINGING THE HEAT: According to FanGraphs, Noah Syndergaard leads the majors in average fastball velocity (98.1), slider velocity (92.0) and change-up velocity (89.5) this season…In 2015, he threw 1,421 pitches at 95 mph or faster, the second-most among all major league pitchers behind Pittsburgh’s Gerrit Cole (1,484).
  • BULLPEN: Mets relievers have stranded 17 of 20 inherited runners…Among teams with 15 or more inherited runners, New York .850 percentage is the third-highest in the majors… Oakland has stranded all 19 inherited runners and the Royals have stranded 14 of 16 (.875)…The pen has posted a 3.12 ERA (12 earned runs/34.1 innings) which ranks fourth in the NL and 13th in the majors.
  • JEURYS FAMILIA: Is tied for fifth in the NL with three saves …He’s allowed one run over 6.0 innings this year.
  • JERRY BLEVINS: Has stranded seven of eight inherited runners this year…Opponents are 2-28 (.071) vs. Blevins dating to 2015.
