Report: Mets, Orioles Talking: Brad Brach Could be Focus

According to FOX Sports’ Ken Rosenthal, the Mets and Orioles are chatting, and Baltimore could prefer Curtis Granderson to Jay Bruce.

Here’s the Tweet.

Who is Brock, you say? Here’s a look at this numbers.

2016: 71 Games, 2.01 ERA, 79 IP, 92 K.

What would you think of the potential swap? I’d want a prospect coming back with him, but I like the way he looks. As for his contract, he’s eligible for arbitration one more time following the 2017 season. He becomes a free agent after 2018.

Would you do it?

Like Grandy a lot…It says something when teams seem to prefer him over Bruce considering that Bruce is 6 yrs younger and making $2 million per year less…Dont know what Brach is making, but it should save Mets about $10 million per year less (a guess)
