Sean Engel, like Falkenbury and Ganci is a graduate of Oneonta State. He graduated with a degree in Mass Communications in May of 2010. He was the Station Manager and Programming Director of the student-run television station WIRE-TV which produced nearly 250 television shows and athletic broadcast under his watch, the most ever. Currently Engel is the Assistant Director of Sports Information at Manhattanville College while pursuing his Master’s Degree in Sport Business Management.
Engel became a Met fan on June 25, 2000 when he attended his first game at Shea Stadium against the Pittsburgh Pirates. In the game Mike Hampton squared off against future Met Kris Benson. In the game the Mets won by a score of 9-0 and Melvin Mora hit a home run in the Mets victory, his favorite Met of all-time Joe McEwing played three positions in the game and went 1-for-4 at the plate.
