Take a Deep Breath

on

Full disclosure, the only part of the Mets’ game I watched yesterday was Yoenis Cespedes’ at-bat in the ninth inning, as I followed via MLB GameDay as I had friends over for Wrestlemania 32.

While the result wasn’t great, I do like the fact that the Mets fought back. Down 4-0, they scored three runs in the eighth to make things interesting, but after putting runners on the corners with one out in the ninth against Royals’ closer Wade Davis, David Wright and Yoenis Cespedes struck out.

RELAX.

I am fairly confident the Mets will not go 0-162, so rather than dwell on the negative (I am talking to you Dad), I am going to take a deep breath and move on. It’s a long road ahead, and this could be a very special season…as long as Yoenis Cespedes catches some routine fly balls.

LET’S GO METS!
