The #MetsTwitter All-Star Team Draft & Vote

on

With the All-Star game coming to Citi Field in July, there has been some talk on #MetsTwitter about voting and who may or may not make the teams this year.

While that is most certainly an interesting conversation, I started to think…what if there was a #MetsTwitter All-Star Game?

Thanks to the brain of Mr. Mark Ethe (@TooGooden16), Jon Presser (@metsjetsnets88) and Myself, we have come up with an idea for the first ever #MetsTwitter All Star Team Draft and Vote.

We will draft teams of 25 men and women from the world of #MetsTwitter on Monday, June 10th that will follow along these guidelines for the roster.

Each team must have at least two (2) or three (3) of the following on their rosters: Mets Beat Writers (2), Mets Bloggers (3) and #MetsTwitter people with under 300 followers at the time of the draft (3) (8 people in total).

We can pick one (1) television personality in baseball that is on Twitter for our team (example being Karl Ravech)

We can pick one (1) celebrity that is on twitter that is also to be confirmed as a Mets fan.

We can pick two (2) current Mets Players that are on Twitter.

And the other thirteen (13) remaining picks go to whomever on #MetsTwitter that we want to pick.

When the draft is over, we will ask you to visit the Stache to vote for which team you think is the best team.

You can also show your support to the team you like the best by using the hashtags #TeamPresser or #TeamStache.

The voting will be open from the 10th of June right up until 8 pm on July 16th which is when the All-Star game at Citi Field will be taking place.

So who which team will be the best collection of #MetsTwitter All-Stars this year? It’s Our teams, but it is your vote.
