VIDEO: 2014 Mets 1st Round Pick Michael Conforto’s First Professional Hit

on

On Saturday Night, Mets 2014 first round pick Michael Conforto made his professional debut for the Brooklyn Cyclones.

After beginning the game 0-2, Conforto led off the sixth inning, an inning that saw Brooklyn score six runs, with his first profession hit.

Conforto would end up scoring later in the inning for his first run scored and finished the day 1-4.

He was just signed by the Mets less than two weeks ago after being taken 10th overall out of Oregon State.

Many experts believe he will make the majors rather quickly and play LF for the Mets.

But that journey to the majors has to start somewhere and for Conforto it did last night.
