Watch: Curtis Granderson Homers Into McCovey Cove

on

With two outs in the top of the sixth inning, Curtis Granderson and the Mets were trailing Tim Lincecum and the Giants 4-2.

The two runs the Mets had gotten came in the first inning when Granderson hit a two run homer to center field and the next run the Mets would score would also come off the bat of Granderson.

Here is the GIF of the home run from the RF camera from our good friend @MetsKevin11

Granderson became only the third Mets player to hit a ball into the cove for a home run, joining Cliff Floyd and Carlos Delgado who each did it twice with the Mets.

Delgado is tied for the most home runs hit by a visitor into the cove with Adam LaRoche and Carlos Gonzalez with three each.

Granderson now has 8 home runs and 30 RBI on the season for the Mets
