Greetings! I stumbled upon your site while looking for someone referring to the Mets somewhat recent 99AB extra base hit drought and somewhere in there was a reference to you. I already write for Bleacher Report (occasionally--the number of bad articles on their keep so many away, so it's really only read by me when I'm interested in hearing over and over from different people how the Mets kicked someone's butt. I also write for Mack's Mets, and I'm looking for other places to contribute.

One thing I really like is the presentation of your site. It's clean, it's got lots and lots of reference material on the banner (similar to the MLB Met's home site). What I noticed, however, is it seems like you're missing a sabrematrician and it just so happens I am one (proud member of SABR)..

What I would like to do is submit pieces summing up a series instead of addressing each game, because obviously you have people doing that already. I'm almost done with the blog I'll post for Mack's Mets soon, and I thought I'd write you, offer you a chance to read it (and, of course, post it if you like).

As for me, I'm about to turn 46, have been a Met fan since i was 3 years old--one of my earliest memories is seeing Tommie Agee make two snow cone catches robbing Orioles of hits during the 1969 World Series. As far as I know, I've ALWAYS been a Met fan--even when they were terrible, like the mid to late 70s, early 80s when we all suffered with the M.Donald Grant ownership group. I have a B.S. in Finance, M.S. in Psychology, M.A. in Criminology, and a Ph.D. in Applied Human Behavior. I got the last 3 degrees within the last 9 years as i was an Army Warrant Officer and combat helicopter pilot from 1991-2003. I was forced into a medical retirement after being seriously wounded.

I'd be more than happy, as I said, to provide you with a writing sample (my posts tend to be long and full of research--much like this note to you, though I didn't have to research anything for it :) ).

Let me know how you feel about all this (and uh, I don't know HTML--am strictly a writer and Math guy. I don't enjoy computer programming or learning the languages), and get back to me whenever it's convenient for you.

Best wishes!
