The New York Mets flagship radio station, 710 WOR-AM, announced its 2015 Spring Training broadcast schedule today. The 50,000-watt iHeartMedia owned station will broadcast 15 games beginning on Wednesday, March 4 when the Mets take on the Atlanta Braves.

This spring’s broadcast schedule will feature two match-ups against the Mets’ crosstown rivals, the New York Yankees, three games against the Washington Nationals, as well as a pair against the Boston Red Sox, who will make their regular season Citi Field debut later this summer.

WOR is in its second year of their partnership with the Mets. Returning to the booth to call the action this season are Howie Rose and Josh Lewin.

“We’ve just finished a national search for a new host for our Mets Pre and Post Game Shows, so shortly we’ll be announcing the broadcaster who’ll be joining Howie and Josh on WOR,” said Tom Cuddy, station Program Director.

The Mets will wrap up their Spring Training schedule in Arlington, TX with two games against the Texas Rangers, before heading to Washington D.C. to take on the Nationals on Opening Day.

“This season can’t get here soon enough, and not just because of our crummy weather,” Rose said.

“There’s so much to be excited about regarding the Mets and I can’t wait to get down to Florida to watch it all come together,” added Lewin.
