- 2014 Stats: Another New York Yankee fan selected by the Mets out of Long Island’s Dowling College. The Suffolk County native put together a very impressive senior campaign that saw him have a 0.83 ERA, yes I typed that correct 0.83 ERA. He struck out 129 batters over 108 1/3 innings worth of work. His two most impressive starts came against perennial powerhouse Franklin Pierce, as he pitched 17 2/3 innings, allowing 12 hits and no earned runs while striking out 16 in his two starts.
