Lucas Duda Moved to Cleanup, Looks Like “Uncle Joey”

on

It was revealed on Twitter this morning that Lucas Duda would be moving to the clean-up spot while the struggling Ike Davis has been dropped to sixth.

I agree 100 percent. Ike is in a funk, and when he comes out of it, he can move back, and that’s only if Duda’s not raking. You do run the risk of unsettling Duda, who’s had an excellent April, but Ike is supposed to be the team’s top power threat, and he’s been beyond awful for the second April in a row.

Take a look at last night. We all think he may be turning a corner when he pokes one through the left side. After he was robbed by Jerry Hairston Jr. in his next at-bat, he struck out twice. The only reason he didn’t fail again is because he wasn’t thrown a strike in his final at-bat.

In Other News: Lucas Duda has a look-alike, and I am tired of keeping it to myself. Whether we want to admit it or not, we’ve all seen the show “Full House” and the comedy relief is provided by Dave Coulier, otherwise known as “Uncle” Joey Gladstone.

Take a look at the accompanying photo, and try to tell me they don’t look alike.
