Tonight the Mets take on the Rockies in game two of their series. The game can be seen on WPIX 11 and heard on WFAN. First pitch is scheduled for 8:10pm Eastern time.
On The Mound
Dillion Gee takes the hill for the Mets tonight on his birthday. Gee is 1-2 with a 5.21 ERA this season. Last start was a tough one for Gee, as he was knocked around pretty hard. The key for Gee tonight is to keep the on the ground.
Guillermo Moscoso is starting for the for the Rockies tonight. It is his first start this season. He has a 7.91 ERA in 4 starts at the AAA level. The scouting report on Moscoso is he uses an above average fastball to get groundballs, but he has issues keeping the ball down in the zone.

Keys to The Game
Dillon Gee needs to go deep into the game tonight after yesterday’s game. The bullpen was used in abused for 11 runs, so they are probably tired.
I believe that the offense should not have much problem producing against Moscoso, so their patient approach should pay off.
