Royals Prepping for Retaliation

on

Today Marc Carig of Newsday reported on stirrings that the Royals will serve up retaliation for Noah Syndergaard’s purpose pitch in Game 3 of the World Series.

What could they have planned? Will we see a Royal charge the mound? Maybe Mike Moustakas will just yell from the dugout some more. And here I thought the retaliation was the Royals making the Mets to sit through two ceremonies, one to raise their World Series pennant, and to receive their rings. I guess not.

Glad to see it took the Royals almost seven months to honor Thor’s invitation from 60 feet, 6 inches away. Syndergaard spoke again today about the pitch, negating claims that he “doesn’t remember saying” his high and inside pitch to Alcides Escobar got away from him.

Something tells me Thor is going to be alright out there.
