Travis d’Arnaud Dies, Or Breaks His Foot

on

Well, this is certainly some bad news for the Mets in the future. But, with John Buck playing so well to start the season, the sting of this bad news is lessened a little bit.

Will Carroll, the former injury expert for Sports Illustrated, is mostly going on his experience of knowing this injury from the past to make his assumption.

Until the Mets Doctors (everyone knows how much we love them!) take a look at it for themselves and sees exactly what is going on, we can only speculate at this point.

It does also bring up the fact that d’Arnaud in his career has had to deal with injuries and we all hope that he is not injury prone in the future.

The Mets are banking on him being a key piece to the franchise’s resurgence in the future, but him being hurt wont help that at all.

I have a feeling that this wont be as bad as people are making it out to be, and he will be able to recover and still make it to the majors this season.

At least I hope so, you never know when it comes to the Mets and their injuries.
