Nobody on the Mets has gone through more adversity this season than David Wright.
None of us knew if he’d even play, never mind make a difference, but he made his presence felt on Friday night. First, he had an epic 12-pitch at-bat against Clayton Kershaw in the first inning which ended in a walk, and then he drove in two against Pedro Baez with a line drive in the seventh inning, which proved to be the game-winner.
