Watch and Listen: Kelly Blue Book- Johnson’s RBI Picks up Clippard in Mets Sixth Straight Win

on

While everyday there seems to be a new hero, everyday there’s on thing that remains the same — Yoenis Cespedes.

He continued to do his thing, crushing a homer and driving in two runs, but it was Kelly Johnson with the big knock that game the Mets the lead after Tyler Clippard served up a three-run homer a half inning earlier. There were several highlights worth checking out. Here’s a few.

Michael Conforto shows off his arm and guns down Jace Peterson, who was trying to leg out a double:

Daniel Murphy drives his 223rd career double, putting him into third place on the Mets’ all time doubles list, passing Jose Reyes.

Yoenis Cespedes hits a solo homer, which gave the Mets more cushion on their lead, which they would originally relinquish, thanks to a poor outing by Tyler Clippard.
