on

Earlier this season, third baseman David Wright underwent successful surgery performed by Dr. Robert Watkins to repair a herniated disc in his neck. The procedure was cervical discectomy and fusion. David has been performing his physical rehab activity in California.

Statement from David Wright:

“I am very proud of our team’s success so far this season and am excited to be present to show my support during our postseason quest. The resiliency our team has demonstrated this year is inspiring and has been incredible to watch. I greatly appreciate the support of my teammates and our fans throughout my injury and rehabilitation and am committed to giving them my support in return.”
