Michael Conforto Has Become a Dangerous Weapon

on

Michael Conforto has made quite the impression since his Major League debut.

He has reached base safely in his last 13 games and over his last 15 contests, Conforto is hitting .381 (16- 42) with five doubles and three home runs and six RBI. Three of his four home runs this year have either tied the game or given the Mets a lead.

Conforto has scored 21 runs and has 14 RBI in his 29 games since he joined the Mets on July 24. He was sixth among National League rookies with a .317 batting average in August and was tied for fifth last month among NL rookies with 16 runs scored.

Keep it going kid, and you may get the chance to experience playoff baseball.
