Mike and the Mad Dog Agree: Mets Will Be Back in World Series

on

I was lucky enough to be in attendance for yesterday’s Mike and the Mad Dog Reunion Show at Radio City Music Hall, and there were a number of highlights.

First, the pressure put one Ryan Fitzpatrick, who was in the building was hilarious. Both Mike and Chris implored the Jets to sign their quarterback, and Fitzpatrick was uncomfortable enough to cover up his face with his hands.

I love seeing Adam Graves, who does more for charity than any athlete I have ever seen. There are literally hundreds of thousands of kids who have had their lives changed by Adam and the other great people who contribute with the Garden of Dreams Foundation.

On a Mets note, both Mike and Chris seemed very high on them. Mike took the Mets as an over in their “Over/Under” segment, claiming higher than 89 wins is a “stone cold lock.” Both guys chose the Mets to go to the World Series to represent the National League again, with Mike picking the Blue Jays and Chris picking the Indians as their opponent. Neither radio man said who win the series, however.

What did you think of the Mike and the Mad Dog Reunion? Do you agree that the Mets will be back in the Fall Classic? Can they win it? Tell us in the comments section below.
