Ok everyone is asking me…if David wants me to throw the HR Derby I’m in. If not…no biggie. We did it last time for fun. Hope he wins.

Paul LoDuca was not only a teammate of David Wright’s in 2006 but also helped him finish second in the Home Run Derby as his special pitcher.
Some people felt that, that performance helped to screw up Wright’s swing in the second half that year and into the playoffs. I have no idea if that is true, but people love conspiracy theories.
If Wright does indeed participate in the Derby this season at Citi Field, he might want to re-enlist LoDuca as his pitcher once again.
At least we know from the man himself that he will do it again, I guess now its up to Wright to make it official.
