With plenty of uncertainly circulating about the Mets’ bullpen, especially the status of recently arrested closer Jeurys Familia, the Mets were in attendance yesterday for the showcase of free agent right-hander Greg Holland, according to the New York Post.
Holland is recovering from Tommy John Surgery.
Here’s a tidbit.
The Mets, who now must prepare as if Jeurys Familia will be suspended under the domestic abuse protocols, were represented by Roy Smith, probably their most valued scout when it comes to pitching.
