STEVEN MATZ: Tossed 6 innings allowing one run, earned, with one walk and four strikeouts in his second career start at Citi Field. Is the first pitcher in franchise history to allow two runs or fewer in each of his first five career starts. Matz joined Jacob Jacome as the only pitchers in Mets history to win four of their first five career games.
ADDISON REED: Pitched a scoreless inning and struck out two batters. Has not allowed a run since being acquired by the Mets (10 appearances, 10.1 innings pitched, 13 strikeouts). Has allowed three runs over 26.1 innings (1.02 ERA) since July 29.
JEURYS FAMILIA: Tossed a scoreless inning. Has allowed one run over his last 24.0 innings pitched (0.38 ERA) dating to July 31. Familia entered the game with the lowest ERA in the majors over that span (minimum 20.0 innings pitched).
