The NY Mets have made a resurgence and have made it back to the 500 mark at 6-6 and are in second place and now trailing the Washington Nationals by three games.
But at this moment it seems the Mets have gotten back on the train tracks after a slow start, their starting pitching is getting better despite Matt Harvey’s bad start and the lineup is starting to hit and hit home runs in bunches also helping Is moving Michael Conforto up to the three spot in the order and moving Yoenis Cespedes and Lucas Duda down one spot. Neil Walker now leads the Mets in Home Runs with four.
The Bullpen has been getting better as well with Jim Henderson in the role of the 7th Inning Guy and Antonio Bastardo, along with Addison Reed and closer Jeurys Familia as well. Looking forward to when Jacob Degrom gets back in the Starting Rotation and also let’s hope Matt Harvey gets things rolling.
Let’s hope that Curtis Granderson and Travis d’Arnaud start to hit as well. I will continue to do weekly articles on The Daily Stache Website on the NY Mets.
