- 2013 Stats: Another guy who could quickly ascend through the Mets’ minor league system as he is already an established closers with one of the top baseball programs in all of Divsion I with the Florida Gators. He’s a smaller guy (Billy Wagner size) but his fastball only tops off in the low 90s, he finished the year with 12 saves and led all pitchers with a 2.76 ERA, in 29 games (including four starts). He struck out 57 batters and walked only 16, while holding batters to a .213 batting average.
