Who’s Hot? – Josh Satin (IF) has had multi-hit games in every game he has played in this week (he only went 0-for in the home opener against Colorado Springs) to bump his season average up to .474.
Who’s Not? – Omar Quintanilla (IF) only has six hits in 29 at bats this season, including 4-for-21 at the dish since Monday, he has walked four times but also struck out nine times…not a good ratio at all.
Top Pitching Performance: Collin McHugh (SP) for his second straight start, McHugh pitched well as he went seven strong innings while allowing no earned runs on four hits at Fresno, he is now holding opposing batters to a .174 average while lowering his ERA to 0.73; Robert Carson (RP) has also had five solid stints out of the bullpen since the season has started.
Prospect Update: Travis d’Arnaud (.286 AVG, 5 2B, 6 RBI, .897 OPS); Zack Wheeler (8 2/3 IP, 3.12 ERA, 6 BB, 9 K) also pitches today against Colorado Springs.
Binghamton Mets (5-4, 3rd Place EL Eastern Division)
Who’s Hot? – Richard Lucas (1B) has only played in four games this week but already has seven hits including a double against Erie, Lucas is now hitting .412 and also has two stolen bases.
Whot’s Not? – Danny Muno (2B) lowered his batting average to .172, he did reach base three times via walk against New Hampshire on Friday, but also struck out twice for a season total of nine through 29 at bats; Wilfredo Tovar (SS) is also hitting .172 this season including his current 2-for-17 skid.
Top Pitching Performance: Logan Verrett (SP) went seven innings allowing one earned run on seven hits, the one run coming off of a home run, he also walked a batter and struck out three in his Thursday start against New Hampshire.

Who’s Hot? – T.J. Rivera (SS) has seven RBI in his last three games to give him 11 in eight games this season, Rivera has gone 13-for-36 at the dish this season and has only struck out three times.
Who’s Not? – Dustin Lawley (OF) has been a personal favorite of mine but he has struggled of late as he is only hitting .111 with 1 RBI through 36 at bats in nine games this season.
Top Pitching Performance: Hansel Robles (SP) went 6 1/3 innings against Palm Beach in his last start, allowing just one run on five hits but only struck out one after ringing up six in his first start of the season; Randy Fontanez (RP) is one of several relievers who has yet to allow an earned run this season, Fontanez has pitched 4 1/3 innings with six punch outs.

Who’s Hot? – Kevin Plawecki (C) already has eight extra base hits in 35 at bats to help him to his .457 average to start the season, he has nine RBI with only six strikeout at bat; Jayce Boyd (1B) is hitting .412 this season with one home run and 10 RBI inlcuding four in Saturday’s contest against Rome; Brandon Nimmo (CF) is also hitting close to .400 with a .394 AVG, he also has 5 RBI and 5 walks to help his OBP to .500.
Who’s Not? – Cole Frenzel (1B), Phillip Evans (SS), and Stefan Sabol (OF) are all hitting .167 or lower with a minimum of 24 at bats this season
Top Pitching Performance – Matthew Bowman (SP) allowed only four hits and one walk with four strikeouts over six innings of work to pick up his first win of the season; Steven Matz (SP) only allowed one unearned run in his five innings on the mound in his last start to lower his season ERA to 2.00 through two starts.
