Yes, the headline is a Zoolander reference…moving on.
Hansel Robles has had a great start to the 2016 season, and the Mets are going to need him this year, because their bullpen may be the key to another run through October.
Through six appearances, Robles has allowed just one run in 5.2 innings, and he’s struck out a whopping 10 batters. The 25-year-old Dominican righty could eventually be the eighth-inning man if Addison Reed were to falter. If he continues to pitch well, the combination of he and Jerry Blevins could be the best seventh-inning combo the Mets have had since Chad Bradford and Pedro Feliciano.
Only time will tell.
