Mets Sign International Free Agent

The Mets have signed international free agent catcher Lednier Ricardo.

The 6-0, 195-pounder was the starting catcher on the Cuban National Team in 2012-2013. Ricardo, 27, played in the Cuban National Series for Camaguey and Cienfuegos from 2007-2013 and was an All-Star in 2012 and 2013.
