The Kansas City Royals just made it official. They will host the Mets for game one of the World Series on Tuesday night.
In what was a crazy game, the Blue Jays looked like they were going to tie it in the ninth. After a runner on third and nobody out, Wade Davis struck out two and induced a game-inning ground out to Josh Donaldson to clinch the American League pennant for Kansas City.
Now the Mets will try to disappoint the Royals, a feeling they’re familiar from after falling just short last season.
