On Tuesday afternoon Mike Francesa opened his show talking about the Mets.
The Mets had just fired their hitting coach Dave Hudgens, lost for the 5th time in their last seven home games and was in the middle of a 7-17 month of May.
Francesa, who is a Yankees fan and has been notoriously tough on the Mets, decided it was time to take the organization to task.

The Mets are well on their way to being irrelevant once again in the sports world here in New York so we wont have too many classic Mets rants from Francesa this summer.
It’s sad really but the longer the Rangers stay in the playoffs and if the Yankees keep playing better, the Mets will get to fly under the radar.
Which seems like its exactly where they want to be.
