Former Mets ace Pedro Martinez, who now works for MLB Network, took to Twitter Tuesday night to voice his opinion on the controversy surrounding Harvey and a potential innings limit. As far as Pedro goes, he says the blame should be put on the Mets. See his thoughts below.
The Mets have to monitor how many stressful innings Harvey has been having and keep him to under 5 innings no matter what the situation is

The Mets have their way of doing things but I don’t think they do a good job relaying to a player the truth about his situation.

Harvey has pitched so much already this year, that I think it will click right up if he has to be in a playoff game

Sometimes management has one way to go about the business, as I think trainers in the clubhouse report to management, but not to players

When there is confusion about information, the player feels like he can’t trust the organization and goes to his agent who looks out for him
