Well that didn’t take long.
A petition has been started on Change.org to get Chase Utley suspended for his questionable slide on Ruben Tejada.
In a half hour, there’s more than 500 signatures. Here’s part of the description:
“During the Mets-Dodgers NLDS Game 2, Chase Utley (LAD) purposely dove into Ruben Tejada’s (NYM) leg. This slide seriously injured Ruben as he has been carried off the field in a stretcher and has FRACTURED his right fibula and he will be out for the rest of the season.”
