The #Mets first significant rumor has leaked.
According to Jon Morosi of FOX Sports, the Mets have interest in free agent lefty Andrew Miller, who obviously has connections to his former pitching coach Mickey Callaway, who’s now the Mets’ manager.

From Michael Ganci: The Mets are going to be connected to a plethora of relievers, with guys like Craig Kimbrel, Miller, David Robertson and Joakim Soria being among the names mentioned. I ran a poll on Twitter, and it seems most fans are enamored by either Miller or Kimbrel. I have worries about both.
Miller obviously wasn’t himself last season, and probably could be had for a 1 or 2-year deal, which appeals to the Mets’ notion of not handling out long-term deals. Kimbrel, who’s one of the best ever, showed some ware and tear this post-season, and he has a lot of miles on him.
We’ll have to see how it all pans out.
