While a Mets’ minor leaguer was at the plate on Thursday, he hit a foul ball into his team’s dugout, knocking over the garbage pail and sending the lid flying.
Johnny Monell, who saw time with the big club earlier this year, took the lid and put it on his head. What followed was another screaming foul ball, that hit the lid yet again. The weird occurrence, in which nobody was injured in, was featured on SportsCenter. You can check out the video below.
