Its been 10,000 Days Since The Mets Last World Series Title

on

The Mets have not won a World Series championship since October 27th, 1986 and as of today, March 14th, 2014, it has been 10,000 days since that wonderful day when the Mets beat the Red Sox .

It has been a long 10,000 days since that title was won with some great years inbetween. For example 1988, 1999, 2000 and 2006 were not bad.

Every other year, depending on the degree of pain, were not so great.

So here is to 10,000 days of not being a champion and God willing, the Mets don’t take 10,000 more to win their next championship.

Also Jon Niese has now been on this Earth for 10,000 days. The Mets should get him a card or something.
