With podcasting becoming to be more and more important both for Mets blogs and for Mets fans, the Daily Stache is happy to announce we are re-starting our own podcast and combining it with one of the most popular podcasts of the off-season.
In a collaboration with Total Sports Blog and TSB Radio, I have decided to re-launch Stache Radio and we are now the title sponsor of the TSB Radio Mets podcasts beginning on Monday, February 17th at 9pm.
Our own Stache Writer Earl aka @EarlTSB, host of the popular Total Sports Blog Radio Show, along with The Shea Faithful’s Jon Presser (@JonPresser), Kevin O. (@FromHereToLI) and myself will be the hosts of the new Stache Radio and I couldn’t be more excited to have them all on board for this venture.
I started Stache Radio a few years ago and although it had its moments, it had been on and off for the most part with it not being on the air since the end of the 2012 season.
Considering the success the Stache had last season, seeing how popular the Mets shows that Earl, Jon and Kevin did and talking it over with Earl who has been writing for the Stache since the 2010 season, we decided to take the popular series and turn it into a weekly podcast for the site.
TSB Radio will continue and be the flag ship program of the network, talking sports and pop culture while Stache Radio will be a show that is about everything and anything that has to do with the New York Mets.
My hope and expectation is that the same kind of program you all enjoyed this past November and December will be brought to you each and every week during the regular season.
There is no doubt in my mind this podcast will not only be entertaining, but insightful and be one of the best Mets podcasts out there.
