Bartolo Colon doubled to lead off the third inning for his third career double and his second extra-base hit this season.
Colón’s last double came on May 31, 2015 vs. Miami. He Became the fourth pitcher since 1913 to hit a double and a home run in his age 43 season (age as of June 30). The others are Phil Niekro (1982), Warren Spahn (1964) and Dazzy Vance (1934).
He just continues to amaze.
