Jacob DeGrom Has Successful Elbow Surgery

FLUSHING, N.Y., September 21, 2016 – The New York Mets yesterday announced that righthanded pitcher Jacob deGrom underwent successful surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York to reposition the ulnar nerve in his right elbow. Jacob is expected to be ready for Spring Training in 2017.
