No word on what Harvey did to warrant the suspension, as he has told reporters that they’ll “keep it in house.” The early-season disappointment that is Matt Harvey continues, I suppose.
Wilk has started three games in his MLB career, all with the Detroit Tigers in 2012. In those starts, he’s 0-3 with 6.49 ERA. He’ll be looking for his first major league win today at age 29.
Matt Harvey's suspension technically began yesterday, running through Monday. Mets will make a 40-man move shortly to clear space for Wilk.
