Matt Harvey Suspended Three Days Without Pay

on

Mets pitcher Matt Harvey has been suspended three days without pay for violating team rules, according to MLB.com’s Anthony DiComo. Adam Wilk will now start today’s series finale against the Marlins.

No word on what Harvey did to warrant the suspension, as he has told reporters that they’ll “keep it in house.” The early-season disappointment that is Matt Harvey continues, I suppose.

Wilk has started three games in his MLB career, all with the Detroit Tigers in 2012. In those starts, he’s 0-3 with 6.49 ERA. He’ll be looking for his first major league win today at age 29.
