A Mets fan was critically injured Friday after a fight outside of Dodger Stadium resulted in his taking a hard fall and hitting his head.
According to ABC7.com, witnesses said the Mets fan was beaten and then fell, hitting his head. The fight happened in the stadium parking lot after the National League Division Series opener between the two teams.
The fan, who was not identified, needed to be hospitalized and have part of his skull removed. No arrests have been made, and police are reviewing surveillance footage.
