With the early-season issues the Mets have with their health in the bullpen, I thought it’d be only natural to explore a deal with former Yankees setup man Rafael Soriano.
He has experience pitching on the big stage and would likely have to settle for a one-year deal loaded with incentives. But according to Newsday’s Marc Carig and MLB.com’s Anthony DiComo, the Mets haven’t explored such an option yet.
Even Mike Francesa said the Mets should explore that yesterday when brought up by a caller. If they sustain one more injury, it’s a call they need to make.
Would you sign Soriano to a one-year, $4 million deal with $3 million in incentives? Tell us in the comments section below.
