As I browsed the Metsosphere (is that even a word?) this morning, I came across a photo shared by Joseph Hernandez in the “True New York Mets Fans” Facebook group, which featured what I assume is Joseph, along with Juan Uribe and Yoenis Cespedes in the background.
But a legendary Met made his presence felt as well.
SNY’s cameras landed on Mike Piazza during the game, as Piazza makes his home in South Florida. Piazza was very active on social media during the contest, and he even took the time to make his presence felt in this photo (see bottom left hand corner).
