[New York] October 3, 2016 – SNY, official television home of the New York Mets, Jets and all things New York sports, today announced the network’s coverage for the New York Mets Wild Card tilt against the San Francisco Giants. On Wednesday, October 5th, the network will broadcast live from the Jackie Robinson Rotunda starting at 6:00 p.m. as SNY’s broadcast duo of Keith Hernandez and Gary Cohen will team with SNY’s Mets studio crew of Gary Apple, Nelson Figueroa and Jim Duquette to provide comprehensive coverage of Mets-Giants.
SNY gets it all started from Citi Field with two hours of exclusive pre-game programming beginning at 6:00 p.m. with Mets Playoffs Live presented by Jeep. SNY’s team of analysts will provide a preview of the Wild Card matchup and set the stage for Mets-Giants. At 7:00 p.m., the group returns for Mets First Pitch presented by Tri-State Cadillac Dealers, before the final lead up to the game with Citi Pre Game Live at 7:30 p.m. The SNY crew will provide the latest news and information heading into the one game playoff.
Following the final out, viewers can tune to SNY for instant reaction with Mets Post-Game presented by Chevrolet, featuring player interviews from the clubhouse delivered by Mets field reporter Steve Gelbs and live footage from Terry Collins’ post-game press conference. SNY’s flagship late night sports show GEICO SportsNite wraps the evening’s wall-to-wall team coverage after Mets Playoffs Live.
